Participants may agree to participate in your research, and click through to your survey. However, when faced with lots of information at the start of a survey, or for various other reasons, they may drop out. Participants can also drop out as they have not been fully informed about what they are expected to do, or what the research involves.

We recommend that you provide enough information to the participant on your study page for them to make an informed decision on whether to take part or not.
